107. Discovering Nutella

Discovering Nutella: Sometimes you have to travel to another continent to figure out that you love something that’s always been readily available. I bet this is one of those things, like yoga, that everyone I know has already tried and long ago decided to love or hate. But I just tried Nutella for the first time two weeks ago, and now Amy has to hide the jar because I won’t stop shoveling it once I start in with the big spoon. Hazelnuts and chocolate blended into a melted marshmallow-like consistency, who knew? It’s like a party in my mouth where Texture and Flavor get together with their friends Sugar High and Caffeine to create a new dance move called The Don’t Stop Eating Until You Finish The Whole Jar Because You Can Always Stop At Tesco And Buy Another One. Woot!

  1. Emelinda says:

Whoa! You mean you’ve been backpacking all these years without Nutella! You can put it in one of those refillable toothpaste tube things and squeeze it right into your mouth.

  2. Sloan says:

See? That’s exactly what I’m talking about. I’m blaming you for all of this lost time.
